1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Portuguese Soul website and all booking requests submitted through it. By using this website or submitting a booking request, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
2. Booking Requests and Confirmation
Submitting a request does not automatically confirm a reservation. A booking is only confirmed after written acceptance by Portuguese Soul and, where applicable, receipt of the required payment.
3. Prices, Taxes and Fees
Prices shown on the website are indicative and may vary depending on dates, number of guests and availability. Applicable cleaning fees and tourist taxes are displayed during price calculation when relevant to the selected property.
4. Cancellation Policy
Unless a different policy is expressly stated for a specific property, cancellations made at least 30 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund. Cancellation conditions may differ for long stays, special periods or non-refundable rates and will be communicated before confirmation.
5. Check-in, Check-out and Occupancy
Guests must follow each property's stated check-in/check-out times, maximum occupancy, minimum stay and house rules. Only the number of guests confirmed in the reservation is allowed to stay at the property unless prior written approval is granted.
6. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for proper use of the property and must leave it in reasonable condition. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing items or breaches of house rules may result in additional charges.
7. Website Content and Availability
Portuguese Soul makes reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and up to date. However, temporary inaccuracies, availability changes or technical interruptions may occur without prior notice.
8. Privacy
Personal data submitted through forms is used only for handling booking and contact requests, in line with applicable data protection obligations.
9. Liability and Force Majeure
Portuguese Soul is not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, public authority restrictions, utility interruptions or other force majeure events.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
